Rajasthan is considered to be the essence of India. It is
a place of beautiful forts and strong impenetrable palaces. The sun is
scorching to its full extent in the land of Rajasthan. But there are also
shimmering lakes popular for its tourist destination. The Thar Desert spreads
throughout Rajasthan not stopping to encroach by time. Rajasthan is in fact the
second largest state of India almost similar to the size of France. Even though
it is a dry place it was a prosperous place at one time in history. Many
foreign countries from all over the world approached Rajasthan in connection
with trade and commerce.
According to mythology, Lord Rama once refills an arrow
on his bow to finish Lanka, the kingdom of Ravana where his wife has been

Day 01: Arrival Delhi
On day 1, arrive in Delhi, the capital city of India in
the late evening hours. You will get an assisted transfer to the Hotel for an
overnight stay.
Day 02: Delhi sightseeing (280 Kms)
After breakfast, leave for sightseeing of Old and New
Delhi. You will cover attractions like Jama Masjid – Asia’s largest mosque,
Parliament House, Gandhi memorial - the memoir of Mahatma Gandhi, Red Fort- the
historical red stone monument and India Gate.
Post lunch visits are going to be Humayun’s tomb and the
complex of Qutab Minar. Enjoy light and sound show at Red fort in the evening.
Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 03: Delhi-Mandawa (258 kms)
Relish your breakfast and later, begin your road journey
to Mandawa. After reaching, get transported to your hotel. After freshening up,
leave for sightseeing or you can also do the activities of your interest.
Explore the Mandawa Fort built during the 18th century.
If you want you can also visit the popular painted Havelis (mansions) of
Shekhawati region. Overnight stay.
Day 03: Mandawa - Bikaner (240 Kms)
On day 3 post breakfast, you will get transferred to
Bikaner by road. On reaching, move to your hotel and later leave for
sightseeing. You are going to cover the Junagarh Fort and the popular private
temple of the royal family. This fort was built during the late 16th century
under the reign of Raja Rai Singh. Back to your hotel for night halt.
Day 04: Bikaner – Jaisalmer (327 kms)
Relish an assortment during breakfast and hit the road to
go to Jaisalmer, Rajasthan’s Golden City. On reaching, get transferred to your
hotel. You can leave for enjoying the surroundings after having your lunch.
Shop at the local bazaar for imitation jewelry, handicrafts and traditional
clothes. Enjoy theme dinner and a cultural performance. Have an overnight stay
here.

Day 05: Jaisalmer
Day 5 post breakfast is booked for a tour of Jaisalmer. The
first visit will be the Jaisalmer fort, the second oldest fort in the state
after the Chittorgarh fort. Popular as the Golden Fort (Sonar Quila). It is
situated on a hilltop at an elevation of 250 feet.
The major attractions of the fort are the Jain temples,
few havelis and Raj Mahal. Back to the hotel for lunch where you can catch a
nap. The evening is booked for a Camel ride to Jaisalmer’s mysterious Sam sand
dunes. Later, enjoy dinner around bonfire. Night stay at hotel.
Day 06: Jaisalmer – Jodhpur (272 kms)
Have your breakfast and begin your drive towards Jodhpur.
Check into the hotel, after you arrive in Jodhpur. In the afternoon, you are
going to leave for Jodhpur tour where you will visit the Mehrangarh Fort, which
was built during the reign of Rao Jodha. The palace is built 400 feet above the
city which has beautiful miniature paintings and huge courtyards.
The next visit is Jaswant Thada Memorial, a popular
landmark. Night stay.
Day 07: Jodhpur – Udaipur (268 kms)
On the seventh day, proceed to Udaipur by road. On the
way, you are going to cover Ranakpur, popular for a Jain temple, built during
the 15th century the 29 halls of the temple are supported by 200 pillars
neither of them is same. Later visit the Temple of the Sun God, which is the popular
Surya temple that has erotic sculptures. Now continue towards Udaipur. After
reaching, check into your hotel for night stay.
Day 08: Udaipur sightseeing
Day 8 is booked for a tour of Udaipur, your first visit
will the City Palace. Have a look at the huge rooms of the palace which have
walls encrusted with mirror work, colored glass windows, have ivory doors,
marbled balconies as well as the Peacock Courtyard. Have your lunch. Next visit
is the Jag Mandir Palace, also known as Lake Garden Palace, a palace built on

Day 09: Udaipur – Pushkar (286 kms)

Dargah Sharif Tomb of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, a well-known Sufi saint. On
reaching, check into the hotel for staying overnight.
Day 10: Pushkar - Jaipur (110 Kms)
After breakfast, half-day sightseeing of Pushkar, one of
5 sacred dhams of Hindus. Visit Pushkar Lake and Brahma temple. Post lunch
drive to Jaipur where after reaching, you will check into your hotel. Later
drive to Jaipur. On arrival, check into your hotel. Today you are going to
cover attractions like Hawah Mahal, City Palace and Jantar Mantar. Stay
Overnight.
Day 11: Jaipur - Agra ( 235 Kms)
Early morning, post breakfast, enjoy an excursion to the
Amer fort where you are going to enjoy a jeep or an elephant ride. Later, start
driving towards Fatehpur Sikri. This old deserted city was once the Mughal
capital, commissioned by Emperor Akbar. Now continue to Agra. Overnight stay in
a pre-booked hotel.
Day 12: Agra - Delhi (205 Kms)
After relishing your breakfast, leave for visiting Agra
attractions such as Taj Mahal And Agra Fort. The Taj Mahal is one attraction
that hardly needs an introduction. Day 12 features a grand tour to this Wonder
of the World. Later in the day, proceed towards Delhi by road. On arrival, get
transported to the International Airport to catch a flight for your onward
journey.
